As we finish our sermon series “The Evidence,” Pastor Dennis talks about the final fruit of the Spirit: self-control. Self-control is all about mastery and restraint, in contrast to being impulsive or reckless. Proverbs 25:28 says that without self-control, it’s like having no defenses. Self-discipline helps us align with God’s will, just as Jesus did. It’s often unseen but necessary for long-lasting success. While decisions get us started, self-discipline helps us finish strong.
