Take a moment and ask yourself, “Do people see me as a Christian? Do I show clear signs of my faith?” Just like a tree that gives fruit, our spirit does the same. When we feed our spirits with the Word of God, we start to show the fruit of love. This love then creates joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. To know if someone is truly a Christian, you can look at their actions and attitudes – their ‘spiritual fruits’. Some might say this is judging, but it’s not about forcing our opinions on others. It’s about seeing what their spirit naturally shows.
