Hear what others are saying

Hear what others are saying about Experience Church.tv.

Revelation 12:11, They won the victory over him because of the blood of the lamb and the word of their testimony. They didn't love their life so much that they refused to give it up.

Take a moment and write a couple of sentences about how the power of God has impacted your life.  Maybe restored relationship, overcoming custody battles, healing in your body, or financial miracles.  Tell others how the power of God is real and effective.

I want to be the first to tell about the power of God. On October 22, 2002 I fell over 100' to what I thought would be certain death. In that moment I suddenly realized what truly mattered. I can't express the emotional heart-ache that I felt when I realized how messed up my priorities were and there was nothing I could do to change it. I thank God, for saving my life and giving me a new start. I thank God for healing me from complete paralysis on the ER table following my rescue. I thank God that I have another chance to be a better daddy and husband - and then could I only strive to be a better Pastor.

Thank you Jesus for you real and true power in my life!

Love and relationships are never lost
written by Brenda, January 12, 2010
God saved me from myself and He saved my marriage. The tragedy, my husband and I were supposed to pursue a divorce when we moved to Washington. We had difficult times together, after my first daughter was born I became distant from my husband, he had expectations, we clashed. I remember as if it was just yesterday, my husband came to my job and asked to speak with me outside, we sat at the table and he stated he wanted a divorce. This announcement came at an awkward time for we received notice to move to Washington. I was so burnt out I just didn’t want to fight anymore so I stated when we arrived to Washington he can start the paperwork. Later on that day reality check came in, I had to get out of this slump or I was going to lose my family. I made a vow that I would return home, return back to God, repenting for what I have done and to find a place of worship that we all can attend. Three weeks after we arrived to Washington as a family we searched for a place to worship, I place my girls into a Christian school. At that time I believed my children should attend a Christian school to be educated and nurtured about the Lord while mom was getting her life back on track by giving up her life in repentance to God so that God can do his work in me. That was 10 years ago, now my husband and I are still married and my children are growing in the Lord. There’s one thing I’m sure of, to have a strong relationship with Christ is to give up one self and remember that being obedient and willing to be involve in God’s mission is not a sacrifice but a privilege. God will be involved in my life because He loves me and He will take care of my needs.

Faith for healing
written by Marva Fleming, January 18, 2010
I had lung cancer surgery in late May of 09, and pancreatic cancer removed Dec. 2, 2010. Both surgically & successfully removed. The night before I was released from Virginia Mason Hospital in Seattle God gave me a promise: If we will maintain a strong foundation of faith when Satan comes to steal your love, joy and peace, God will be faithful to replace it over and over again. In fact, He literally showed me "Faith will not go!" I immediately felt sure that night that God healed me. The next morning when my surgeon, Dr Traverso, came in to release me, he introduced me to his "team" of doctors, as a miracle. He said, "team, this lady standing before you is a miracle, you will not see this a whole lot in your practice, but today you are seeing a miracle". Since only 4% of people diagnosed with pancreatic survive, I know Dr. Traverso's statement that next morning was God putting the stamp of healing on me. I'm in the process of chemo, (Dr. Traverso said it's important for preventative reasons, so I'm doing what he asked me to do with peace. Had 1st treatment last week, 2nd one tomorrow. What an awesome and faithful God we serve!

NO LOGIC NEEDED
written by Debbie Hurtt, January 21, 2010
As many of us are facing financial challenges in our world today, I am reminded of a miracle 25 plus years ago. My husband being in construction (and still is) NO that's not the miraclesmilies/smiley.gif LOL...however being in construction at that time, the bottom fell out of building at that time as the interest rates sky rocketed. He faced little or no work and times were getting pretty tough. In the midst of "no money" God miraculousy moved us into a one year old beautiful home, (long story with that)...and provided more than enough for us each and every day. WE never went without and with no logical reasoning we had a beautiful new home, food to eat and we came through victoriously without a scratch. Now that's the God I serve and how HE works...NO LOGIC NEEDED...Faith the size of a mustard seed can move a mountain! What mountain needs to be moved in your life today? GOD IS MORE THAN ENOUGH to take care of it for you!!

He Is Faithful
written by Pastor Batterson, January 27, 2010
My wife and I have experienced many miracles in our lives. When I was a boy the Lord healed my eyes. I have had open heart surgery and a heart attack and just recently had stints put in. Open heart surgery that was supposed to last 5 to 10 years is now approximately 24 years. Praise the Lord! Another miracle is that all of our family are serving the Lord and most of them are involved in the ministry. My wife and I are truly blessed. The church that was started from nothing has been blessed of the Lord and is growing with people being born again and set free from harmful habits.

It's kinda hard to pick just one, but the time I was in a serious car accident always comes to mind. My second year of Bible College, I had driven my Toyota truck from California to Texas with a fellow student from California and at Christmas break had intended to share the driving with him to get home. He fell in love with a girl from Texas and decided he would spend the break with her family locally, so I had to drive back to California on my own. I made it as far as the deserts of Southern California about an hour outside of Riverside. It was pitch dark out, I woke up to find that I was going way past the speed limit and was going off the road. I over-corrected and flipped my truck and it rolled for quite a ways until it
finally came to rest upside down. I opened my eyes to see fire dripping down off the engine onto the ground. I unbuckled my seat belt and crawled out the side window and a lil ways from the wreck and just layed there. I was in shock and not sure where all I was hurting. The fire got alot bigger and lit up the
area enough that other travelers stopped and a trucker must have called first responders. Some people had pulled over and were watching the blaze when I stood up and surprised them. One of the firemen asked me again what happened, and then pointed to the side window and said, "How did you crawl out thru there?!" The side window was crushed down to less than a half a foot high. I spent awhile in the back of a police car until the ambulance came and they strapped me down & rushed me into the hospital. As we came in, I heard someone say, "Move him out of here, we got a burn victim coming in!" When they told them it was me, one of the medical staff leaned in over me and looked in my face and said, "God has plans for you." I only had a minor scratch on my arm. For the longest time I woke up at night, with that same feeling of
spinning out of control. I truly believe that God protected me from something completely out of my control.

It was a very surreal experience and I lost pretty much everything I had, being just a college student at the time. I went back to college after Christmas. I met Kimberly, my future wife, the next year. We knew we wanted to get married after just a month of dating but we both continued to date long distance while finishing college. I headed to Germany/Hungary to do missionary work. She finished her degree and went on to do missionary work in Peru. After marriage, we both worked for an ambulance billing company and I taught high school computer science at a christian school. During the summers, we worked with a group taking teenagers down to Mexico to build free medical clinics and have the students teach vacation bible school at churches. Throughout all that, Kim and I have seen God do so many things in our lives and in others. We have gone thru our share dark times, but never too long without an answer to prayer, mostly because we are always praying and giving God the glory. Psalm 34:19 (NIV) "A righteous man may have many troubles, but the LORD delivers him from them all;"

Prayers for my Mom
written by Steven D. Pickel, January 27, 2010
One Sunday, I jumped down from operating Camera one to ask Pastor Dennis to pray for my Mom, whom we had just found out had ovarian and cervical cancer. Since she was a women of no faith, Pastor Dennis asked God to work through me. The Yuma AZ hospital wouldn't do an operation, suggested surgery in Tucson. After weeks of collective prayers with many family and friends, I received a phone with a report stating that she should NOT need chemo or radiation, the operation was a complete success. I saw my mommy at Christmas, and we went to church with my parents and two sons in Yuma. Also reunited with a pastor from my youth, a man who confirmed me, not seen in 35 years. Best Christmas ever...! My parents now attend church again after the miracle God preformed on her. Praise God and the power of Prayer.

God is GOOOOOOD!
written by Roger Jones, March 07, 2010
THE SUMMER OF 2004 MY WIFE WENT TO THE DOCTOR TO FIND OUT WHY SHE WASN'T GETTING PREGNANT. THE DOCTOR SAID ",YOUR OVERIS ARE COVERED IN CISTS AND YOU WONT BE ABLE TO HAVE KIDS. WE CAN TRY THIS MED TO TRY TO GET YOU TO DROP EGGS BUT I DONT THINK IT WILL HELP , SORRY." WELL IN NOV SHE CAME TO ME DANCING THAT WE WERE GOING TO HAVE A BABY. GOD BLOWS DOCTORS AWAY EVERYDAY YA KNOW? OUR SON KOBE WAS BORN EVEN THOUGH MY WIFE HAD GROTHS IN HER UTERUS THREATENING THE VERY LIFE OF OUR 1ST MIRACLE. AFTER KOBE THEW DOC SAID THERE IS NO WAY THIS WAS POSSIBLE SP BE BLESSED CUZ THIS NEVER HAPPENS NOR WITH IT HAPPEN AGAIN. THATS WHAT HE THOUGHT!

IN SUMMER OF 2008 MY WIFE WENT INTO THE DOCTOR TO GET HER IUD REMOVED SO WE COULD PLAN TO HAVE OUR 2ND CHILD TOGETHER. THE IUD HAD GROWN INTO THE UTERUS WALL AND COULD NOT BE REMOVED EXCEPT BY SURGERY. WHEN THE SURGERY WAS COMPLETE THE DOCTOR HAD TOLD US THAT ALL OF THE CIST COMPLETELY COVERING HER OVERIS HAD COMPLETELY LEFT AND HER OVERIS LOOKED LIKE A YOUNG WOMENS OVERIS AGAIN. WE WERE BLESSED BUT STILL DIDN'T SEE THE BIG PICTURE.

IN MID NOVEMBER OF 2008 MY WIFE HAD WENT ON HER VACATION TO HER FAMILY IN KENTUCKY. UPON RETURNING SHE HAD TRUTHFULLY TOLD ME THAT SHE WAS NOT IN LOVE WITH ME ANYMORE AND WANTED OUT. I COULD DO NOTHING TO SAVE OUR RELATIONSHIP AND FELT HOPELESS. THAT NIGHT I GOT ON MY KNEES AND SAID ",GOD I CANT DO ANYTHING TO FIX THIS. IF THIS IS OF YOU YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE TO DO SOMETHING. I DONT KNOW WHAT! BUT YOU ARE GOING TO DO SOMETHING I JUST NOW IT!" OUR PLAN WAY TO GET HER HYSTORECTOMY SCHEDULED AND MELISSA WAS GOING TO MOVE TO KENTUCKY. AT OUR APPOINTMENT FOR THE HYSTORECTOMY THE NURSE WALKED IN AND TOLD US THAT SHE WAS POSITIVE. ME BEING ANGRY I WAS LIKE", POSITIVE FOR WHAT!" AND THEN IT HIT ME GOD BLESSED US WITH A NEW CHILD AND THIS WAS ONLY THE BEGINNING OF BLESSINGS. I WAS JUMPING AROUND MY WIFE WAS CRYING THE NURSE RAN OUT THE DOOR IT WAS A CRAZY MOMENT.smilies/shocked.gif AFTER THE APPOINTMENT WE WERE HUGGING OUT IN THE PARKING LOT AND STARTED DIGGING TO FIND MY WIVES TRUE FEELING. SHE WAS OVERWELMED WITH ALL OUR KIDS AND SAD CUZ SHE ONLY GOT TO HAVE 2 CHILDREN MY OTHER 2 CHILDREN MADE FOUR OVERWELMING JONES KIDS.
TO MAKE THING A LITTLE SHORTER WE HAD ALLOT OF COMPLICATIONS WITH MIRI OUR NEW LIL PRINCESS. THERE WERE 3 GROTHS BY THE UTERUS THAT TOOK UP MOST OF HER TUMMY SO THE BABY WAS FIGHTING FOR ROOM TO GROW NOT TO MENTION IF 1 OF THOSE GROTHS TOUCHED MIRI IT WOULD SUCK THE BLOOD SUPPLY FROM HER AND SHE WOULD PASS AWAY NEVER EVEN SEEING THE LIGHT OF DAY. THEN THE GROTHS HAD BLOOD SUPPLY SHORTAGE AND PUT MY WIFE IS EXTREME PAIN CAUSING HER TO TAKE ALLOT OF VICODINE CAUSING MIRI TO BE DRUGGED UP IN THE WHOAM. THE DELIVERY WAS CRAZY COMING AND GOING THE THE HOSPITAL MAKING SURE THE BABY WAS STILL BREATHING AND LOTS AND LOTS MORE. FINALLY OUR LIL GRL CAME AND I SEEN JOY IN THE FACE OF MY WIFE WICH HAS BEEN GONE FOR 3-4 YEARS.
ON DEC. 28 OF 2009 MELISSA GOT HER HYSTORECTOMY AND NOW THE GROTHS AND UTERUS ARE REMOVED AND NO MORE PAIN FOR MY WIFE. OUR RELATIONSHIP IS GETTING STRONER EVERYDAY AND WE OWE IT ALL TO GOD. I COULD GO FOR EVER ON THIS MIRACLE OF GOD BUT GOD KNOWS I CANT THINK HIM ENOUGH FOR OUR LITTLE MIRACLE AND NOW SHOW ALL I HAVE IS HIS AND ALL I WILL GET ALREADY IS HIS.
